Legal Question in Education Law in New York
teacher posting a website
I would like some info about if a teacher puts up a website where
other students can access it and post comments. If the comments
are about other student in the class is this allowable, and if so or
not what part of the law is cited.

If your privacy rights are compromised, you always have the right to sue. Write a letter advising the teacher of your concerns and ask him to cease the practice. Send a copy to the Superintendent and the President of the School Board. Threaten to file a complaint with the State Ed Dept.
