Legal Question in Education Law in New York

Are teachers allowed to not show a class vedio project that they felt was distur

My teachers refused to show my vedio project

(commercial) to the class because they felt that it was

disturbing. the vedio showed a person being shot with

a paintball gun from a safe distance with all the proper

and requiered safty gear. the only thing was that the

person had no shirt on. in paintball a shirt is not

requiered. they showed the other students vedios in

class but not mine. can they legaly do that? i worked

hard on my vedio and feel that it is unfair that they

denyed my the oppertunity to show the class my hard

work. nobody was hurt in the vedio and nothing was

done against there will. and the vedio project was done

outside of school. aslo they wont let me make coppies

of the tap can they do that too?

thank you

Teachers have discretion as to the content of materials to be shown to their classes.

Try to arrange a private showing and invite your friends.
