withdrawing a child from school
lagal at what age can i withdraw my child from school if he been harmed(he's 16)(and autistic) I have gone to the law and the school dist. and nothing has been done

If your child has not received an appropriate educational opportunity from your local public school district, you may be entitled to enroll your child in a special private school at the school district's expense. Most NY cases have determined that ABA services are appropriate for autistic children and yet school districts almost never offer such a program.
