Legal Question in Elder Law in New York

401k

i have a401k though my employer. i have no access to this account.. is this legal?

A 401(k) plan is for retirement. It's not a bank account. When you retire and reach age 59 1/2 you can start taking withdrawals. If you get another job you can rollover your 401(k) into an IRA. But an IRA is also not a bank account; it's for your retirement years.
