elderly aunt
My aunt is 86 years old. I am her power or attorney as well as the sole beneficiary of her will. She lives in Florida. I live in NY. She is not senile, but she is not exactly sharp. We have suspicions that friends of hers in Fl are scheming to take control of her and her money. They have so far taken control over her and are making decisions for her, writing checks for her, convincing her to use their doctor, lawyer, etc. And now they are trying to convince her to sell her house and move in with them. She is totally convinced that these people are the most wonderful people in the world. She doesn't see the influence they have over her or her assets. How can I stop this?
