juridiction as to spouses living separately in NY and CT
NY has a more beneficial ''right of refusal to pay'' when spouse is in a nursing facility. If the ''refusing'' spouse is in NY and the nursing home resident spouse is in CT., is the NY state law applicable when the NY state spouse elects to refuse to pay for nursing home care?

I honestly do not know the answer to your question, but my hunch is that if the CT Department of Social Services is processing the Medicaid application, they are going to apply CT law.
