how is a power of attorney disvolved
family member has been disignated as power of attorney for a parent. family member no longer wants this responsibility. what can be done to re-insate this parent to be own POA ?

Take the original POA and all of the copies. Burn them.

Need to revoke it in writing and notify (in writing) any establishments (banks, etc) that accepted the POA that it is revoked.
