I am a senior citizen, and I am still paying my mortgage and receive the enhanced star for school taxes. i am thinking of putting my home in my son's names and was wondering if I would still be able to claim the interest on my mortgage and receive the enhanced star if the house is in their names.

No I don't think so. But you should call the tax collector in your town and ask them.
