transfer of property and medicaid
My father will need home care when he is released from a nursing home. We plan to transfer his house were he lives to my sister who is on disability.Can She transfer the house to her brother without Medicaid objecting? .If so how long after the transfer? Also can we transfer the home to her even after he is accepted by Medicare.

I hate to have to tell you that property transfers for Medicaid eligibility purposes can't be answered here. The rules are just too complex and the consequences for messing up are severe. As you already know, there's a lot of play you can get out of your sister's disability, but you've got to be careful and do it right. Count on Medicaid objecting to everything.
