Legal Question in Entertainment Law in New York
As of 09/03/09 I was suspended from my job @ Seneca Gaming Authority. On a employee misconduct policy, May result in termination, I saved video of a female patron walking across the parking lot, to show to a SGA Inspector, He likes to look at things of this nature, In previous contact with other people in higher management, such as Director of surveillance, and others, they themselves have used the equipment to do the same, I have even showed them video file of other video, labled with the Inspector name on it, They did not tell me it was wrong or anything else, In 5 years of employment, this is my first misconduct charge, I feel I should not be fired for this incident, because higher management broke the same policy. Thank you, Ken

Generally, if you were an at will employee (an employee with no contract), the employer may fire you for any non-discriminatory reason.
