Legal Question in Entertainment Law in New York

pornography

If I were to produce a low budget pornography film what are some of the precautions I should take in order to make it virtually risk free in respect to the law? Do I need for my actors to sign a contract of consent, if so how formal must that be? Is it illegal for me to sell porn? What if the actors are not U.S. citizens, does this make it a safer indever? Any laws concerning STD testing prior to filming?

Re: pornography

This type of production is heavily regulated by the government and there are a number of compliance issues to deal with. This is not a business venture that you should try to setup without retaining an attorney due to the high risk nature of this particular industry. Please feel free to contact my office if we can be of any assistance in this matter.
