remake of owners song
I own a song. i wrote the song. someone want's to remake or rerecord my song and use it. they want to hire someone else to rerecord the song . my question is if they make any chane to the song does that entittle them to song writers percentage.

As you are the copyright owner you control derivative rights in the work. If someone wants to change it, arrange it or otherwise alter it they need your permission. They will likely want to negotiate some arrangement so they can get a share of publishing but it would be your right to say no. Of course, this may mean they won't select your song. If you have already recorded the song and they want to simply rerecord, they can do that but you would still be entitled to your full publishing share.
