Re: sponsering an avent

Generally if yo uare putting together such an event the potential responsibilites are great, you may be held responsible for the safety abd security of attendees and competitors or preformers and there are specific ways to protect against this. Furthermore there are specific obligations you would have to other partys involved.

The difference between the terms you discussed is minor.

Re: sponsering an avent

The responsibilities depend on the contract between the sponsor and the event. Usually it involves a monetary payment and includes signage but may have other aspects as well. There is no legal difference between sponsorship and "Being brought to you by."

Should you like to discuss this or any other legal matter, you can e-mail me for more information about low cost face-to-face, on-line, or a telephone consultation with a lawyer in our office.
