television show copyright
Is selling copies of old television shows legal?
I like to collect shows from the 50's and 60's and before I purchase any I want to make sure that it is legal.

Your question would require much more information to make an accurate reply. The short of it is that a legal copy (produced by the copyright holder, or licensee) can be resold. The buyer can then turn around and resell it. You just can't copy it, show it publicly, broadcast it etc.
