Legal Question in Environmental Law in New York
I have been trying to find out if I need any type of permit(s) for "Submerged log recovery" in New York State lakes and rivers? There are logs just sitting on the bottom of "a lake" in the Adirondacks. Some have been potential hazards. I can't image there being any environmental impact on removing these logs,however, I know if the State can get money from the pubic they will certainly try. Look forward to hearing back from you.
