Ex is in 3 contempts
I live in Georgia and my ex is now living in New York and he is contempt of court of not paying child support, not providing health insurance on the child and not paying money owed to me that was order on the divorce papers. What advice can you give to me since he is now in New York and on his new job?

Seek Enforcement under the Uniform Child Support Law through your local Child Support Court (formerly called USDL), in Georgia. Your "local Court" can "correspond" with the NY Family Court in the County your EX lives in and collect through the NY Family Court. Or, you can file for enforcement of your GA Child Support Judgment in NY Family Court ( in the County your EX lives in) under the same Uniform Child Support Law. You will require a Court or Clerk Certified Copy of the Child Support Order you want enforced and all supporting docs you submitted in GA.
It is adviseable that you file through the GA Courts and they will correspond with the Corp Counsel or Other in NY on your behalf.
Having someone held "in Contempt" is a separate remedy from enforcement. You want Enforcement of the Support Order and you know he is working.

If your divorce was granted in GA, you can hold him in contempt in the court that granted the divorce. However, more facts need to be developed. Consult with a local attorney

You may seek to garnish his wages and other enforcement devises. Please let me know if I can be of help.

There is far too much information missing to answer you fully.
If the amount is large, hiring a NY collections lawyer or firm for a percentage of the recovery may be good.
For smaller amounts, you need to avoid spending a dollar to seek a nickle. While the results are uneven, going through Georgia's child support office sometimes will help.
