A. Yes, although it is difficult. See, http://www.courts.state.ny.us/ip/matrimonial-matters/forms.shtml.

Q. 2) How much money would the process of filing for divorce and seperation be?

A. Assuming you are not retaining an attorney, the cost is $210 for the index number, $95 for the RJI, $30 for the Note of Issue, and in some jurisdictions, $35 to file the Separation / Settlement Agreement.

Q. 3) Where in N.Y. city can I go to get divorce papers and seperation papers?

A. You may obtain divorce papers online (see above). You may also go to the Court Clerk located at 60 Centre Street, New York, NY. Ask for the uncontested divorce package. The clerk may direct you to obtain the documents online.

Q. 4) How long will an uncontested divorce take to official be done once I file for it?

A. It depends on the county. Most counties take 4 to 6 weeks. However counties (like Queens) may take months.

Q. 5) Do you have any suggestions on how I would recieve divorce papers and seperation papers with an annual income no higher than 11, 500?

A. You may want to contact your local bar association for a pro bono (free) attorney.
