Legal Question in Family Law in New York

i have a 14yr old daughter who wants to live w her grandparentsand i have not givin her permission to do so .i told her she has to live w me or her father.i have had her her whole life and i was wondering if it was legal for her to make that decision on her own??

One simple answer, NO! She can not make this decision for herself, she is a minor and is under your care until her 18th birthday.
