getting 21 yr old out of house

my 21 yr old is running amuk! i want

him out. he says i cannot legally throw

him out without 6 months notice. is

this true?

I agree with Mr. Markowitz.

You must give him 30 days notice prior to the 1st of March. On April 1, if he doesn't move, then you can have him evicted as a holdover tenant in your local court.

This notice must be in writing, mailed to him, and then he must be given a copy of the notice by someone over the age of 21 and not his parents.

No. This is not true. You can evict an adult upon 30 days notice.
