Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Im 27 yrs old, My father died when i was 6-7, My mother re-married to a very abusive man, that not only physically, mentally, and Humiliated me as a child all forms of Abuse. Im living homeless while all other siblings are ok with my family an get things. I was kicked out at 17 because i wouldnt give my step dad an mother my SSI check. But prior to this when I was 10 yrs old maybe even 9 I was a Bed wetter. My step dad would beat me everytime i did it, my mother did nothing over the 13yrs he reigned in our house. So one day he beats me infront of his co worker he brings home an then puts dried pissed undies over my face makes me wear a diapper and infont of this other man then beats me a little an video tapes it then watch over an over while they laughed. Ok so thts jst one story of many, of course this tape is not in exsistance anymore but why would it my step dad an mother burned it after my grampa found out about it. So i guess my question in a whole is.... I wanna sue my mother an step dad for Abuse, I also would like to know about all my Fathers Assets which were left to me an my brother but becuz we are so young at the time she took it all can we get it back??? Plz help me if you can.... Thanks so much

Check with the Court where your father's will -if any- or intestate assets were probated. The only case you may have is for your share -if any- of your father's assets.
