abanadonment aof property
im my wife left me on may 2, 2008, did she abandon her property? Do I get to keep her belongings?

Abadonment as grounds for a divorce must be for 1 year.

No, not until you have a judgment of divorce that says you are entitled to the property. You must wait until your spouse has been gone for 12 months before you can file for divorce based on abandonment. However, if you have not had sex with her for more than 12 months, you have grounds to file right now. Feel free to call me to discuss.
