Adding a parent name on child birthpaper

We're immigrants from Trinidad W.I.My daughter's father name is not on her birthpaper. We were never married. I am now married to someone else. My daughter's father wants his name to be added on her bithpaper.

You did not tell me very much, but I will try to give an intelligent answer.

If the child was born in the United States, you can add the father's name to the "Birth Certificate" by a petition to the local government office where your child was born. The father must provide a notarized statement that he is the father and that he wants his name on the Birth Certificate.
