Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Adult biological siblings - legal reinstatement

I am an adult adoptee who has been reunited with my biological brother, also an adult. Is there any way to reinstate our status as legal siblings through the court system?

Never heard of such a process. But, if there was any defect in the adoption process, you might have an opportunity to press for some kind of relief.

But,.... you will probably also require "good cause" for your "quest," that will be exceedingly difficult to show.

Good luck,
