I have been seperated for 5 months {not legally} but found someone else can my ex take my children away from me if he found out before the papers are served? also what kind of effect does this have on child supprt and alimony?

Probably not unless the person you are now with causes an issue with the children.

In terms of child support, there is no effect. In terms of maintenance, there may be an effect if you are living with the individual. If you are just dating, there should be no effect.
