Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I really need some advise

Hi I live in Schenectady, NY and I am having a severe problem with one of my neighbors. He has called CPS on me and my family twice and his claims are bogus and false. I was wondering if there is anything I can do? I have done some research and found out that this is a Class A Misdemeanor, but what steps do I take to take legal action against him? My other question is could this be considered harrassment? Not only is he calling CPS on us but he has threatned my 23 year old daughter, and my 16 year old son. What can I do? Please help. Thank you

File a police report with the local precinct, go with your chidren and have them explain the threats.
