age+responsible for a child
Am I legally responsible for a son who is 18, married has a child and a job? If so until what age in NYS?

If the child is fully employed the answer would be no. However, you would still have to file a Petition with the Family Court to declare your son emancipated.

If your child is married with a child of his own and working, you are not obligated to pay child support.
In NYS you must pay child support until the age of 21.
