Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Alimony

In my divorce decree my ex was to have paid me $100.00 dollars a month he has been giving me the run around, I recieved the papers in 2005. Is there a statute of limitation that prevents me from suing. Also one of my kids live in his house and she has to pay rent. He has access to her paycheck and has been taking the money directly pending how much she makes. He takes as much as he wants then gives her a small portion. What can she do?

Re: Alimony

If the Judgment directs payment of $100,000, you would have 20 years to enforce the Judgment. You do not need to "sue" since you already have the Judgment.

As to your other question, your child should stop the father from having access to her paycheck.

Mike.
