Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Alimony

I want to get divorced - I am a homemaker, married 10 years, haven't worked in at least 6 or 7 years - have two kids age 5 and 2 (the 2 year old is autistic and I take care of him) - husband works 60-70 hours a week, makes $115,000 a year - what am I entitled to? Can I get alimony as well as child support and what about the house? Who gets that? Please help...I'm scared to start this...

Re: Alimony

One of the reasons why some people feel apprehensive about divorce is that they do not know much about it. You should consult with an attorney to learn about all of your rights. Many attorneys offer a free initial consultation.

Please feel free to contact me for a no-fee initial consultation.
