Alimony in NYS

My husband & I did an opting out agreement for alimony for 8 years . It does not specify that it would be terminated if I were to get remarried.Would that be the case even if it wasn't stated in NYS?

Your question is not clear. If there is an opting out agreement, then it is effective as long as it is a valid agreement. The question regarding whether it is valid in NY is unclear.
