Are you allowed to call a judge you had in court to them a question about something they said?

I think more information is necessary. What type of proceeding do you want to call them at? what did they say? what relevance is their testimony? The first place to start is to get the transcript of the proceedings where the judge "said" whatever it is you are trying to prove. If it is in the transcript, then it is a non-issue. If it's not in the transcript, odds are that you will have a difficult time proving it was said whether the judge testifies or not. Contact the lawyer who handled the original case for information about obtaining the minutes/transcript of the proceedings.
