Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Not allowed to see child/still have to pay?
My brothers wife has custody of his 2 children, but she refuses to let him see them. He is allowed to see them every other weekend, but she constantly moves or isn't at home...he pays child support - I heard that if the parent refuses to let the other parent see the kids, they no longer were required to pay. Is this true? Thank you.

Your brother needs to go to court to enforce his rights, before his children are grown.
It is easier to do this with a lawyer, but if he cannot afford one, then he can go to the Family Court on his own.
If may first with to consult with an experienced matrimonial attorney to learn his rights and his options.
I practice in NYC and Long Island.
