amend and order of protection

the fsmily court judge issued an order of protection in 2004 hat is valid till 2010 against my husband,i would like this to be dropped from a complete stay away to a refrain from ,i miss my husband and he has hanged his life around,my question id an he legally deny my request?my husband has fulfilled all the courts orders and is now an upstanding member of society ,please help me and let me know what steps legally i have to take to aend this ,thank you

Re: amend and order of protection

If a person wants to terminate an Order granted them, by the Court, pursuant their request, the person has the option of filing a Court Motion, "for cause," to Vacate and Terminate the Order.

Whether the grounds or reasons for Termination or Vacatur of the Order, are sufficient, will be determined by the Court, once presented.
