Legal Question in Family Law in New York

What is the amount of years between a teenager and a young man considered alright to date. My niece is 14 and she continues to date a youngman who is 17, deals drugs in the school backyard, has thought her how to drink, and smoke pot. Finally she has lost her virginity to this punk.

Needless to say she is heading to a life of hell if she continues with him. Its obvious her judgement stinks.

Is there anyway legally that I can prevent this from happening?

Get his butt arrested. He has committed at least a misdemeanor if not a felony. That might result in him being told to stay away from her. Her judgment does stink and she is throwing her future away but she is very foolish and young.
