Legal Question in Family Law in New York

How to answer a divorce summons with out a lawyer. With in 7 days with no time off. Dad in NY trying to get daughters out of abusive home.

I would go to the Court and speak to the clerk. Many courts offer a pro se clerk to help individuals without a lawyer.
