I am going thru a divorce and the judge has odered my husband to give money to the kids for christmas. My attoney has the check and refuse to give to me. Case is not over. What is the right to deal with this? I have already paid all the attoney fees. Should i tell the judge?

Re: Attoney client relations

More information is needed as to why the attorney is withholding the check from you. If you have paid all the fees, and the check is properly made out to you, it would appear that there is no reason to withhold the check.

However, it seems that there is an issue between yourself and the attorney. Before going to the judge, you should address the situation with your attorney. If it becomes a large issue, you can seek assistance from your judge or local bar association.
