Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Does having bankruptcy in the past which has now been removed from my credit report, affect my petition for a legal court ordered name change?

You must disclose the bankruptcy to the court to whom you're applying for a name change, but the bankruptcy was over 10 years ago (it's been removed from your credit report) and none of those creditors can now collect from you. You should have no problem.
