My ex-husband is filing for bankruptcy. I currently am to recieved $615.00 a month for three children for support. Will his bankruptcy effect his obligation to pay support?

Re: Bankruptcy's effect on Child Support
Bankruptcy will wipe out most debts, but it WILL NOT wipe out child support obligations.

Child support payments are not discharged in bankruptcy.

No, his child support payments are not dispossed through bankruptcy. The most he can do, if his salary has been reduced, is petition the court for a modification of support.
