Legal Question in Family Law in New York

If you were a benificery on a life insurance policy and your ex husband dies are you still intitled to the benifit? My husband passed away but kept me as a beni as long as I paid the preminum, We also were living together again.

Generally, as long as the premiums are being paid the life insurance policy has a duty to pay to the beneficiary.
