If my bfs moves in with me in my house I purchased the house and we get married if things don't work out do I get the house or does he get half

This is not a simple question to answer. If your name is solely on the deed and the mortgage, and if you are paying the mortgage, taxes, insurance, utilities, etc. without any contribution from your spouse, and if you do not make any significant improvements to the house during the marriage, and if you meticulously document everything throughout the entire length of the marriage, then it is probable that he/she will not have any interest in the property should you subsequently get a divorce. However, the safest way to protect your interest in the property is to have a prenuptial agreement drafted by an attorney.
