Bride married knowing she was going to leave groom

I paid for my sons wedding, the bride went through the wedding knowing she was going to leave him a week later. Can I sue her for the money I spent on the wedding?

Assuming you can prove that the bride KNEW that she never intended to have a real marriage, you could potentially make a case for fraud. It would be novel but I believe that there could be a viable cause of action.

Should you like to discuss this or any other legal matter, you can call my office to schedule an appointment for a consultation or in the alternative, I can be reached for on-phone low-cost legal consultation at 1-800-275-5336 x0233699.
