Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Hello, am from calif. My soon to be ex husband is from saudi and not a US citizen.He is the provider in our marriage so am i entitled to half of everything plus alimony?.I am American and he isnt though so i dont know if that makes a difference.

Under New York law you are entitled to equitable distribution of marital property. You may be entitled to maintenance depending on a number of factors including lenghth of the marriage, loss of income potential, earnings from both spouses, etc.
