Re: Name Change
You may "Use" any name you want, as long as you are using it in good faith; and not for the purpose of deceiving others.
You have the right to continue to use your married name, notwithstanding a divorce judgment permitting you to return to the use of your pre married or "maiden" name.
If you have recently married, you merely have to tell others your "new" name; and make whatever document changes they may require. Businessess, and government agencies, such as banks,or social security may ask for proof of your marriage.
Good luck.
Re: Name Change
This right to use your maiden name could have been established as a part of your devorce decree.
You may still make the change as either a motion included in your divorce or sepataely as a new action.
It ids neither expensive nor complicated. Go down to the courthouse and find the 'prs-se office. They can assist you.
good luck
