Re: Changing name

If you don't care about doing it formally you can just start using the name, there's nothing illegal about calling yourself anything you want to as long as you are not doing so for a fraudulent purpose. If you would like to make an official name change you need to bring a petition for a name change at a county or civil court. If you'd like we can help you with this.

Should you like to discuss this or any other legal matter, you can e-mail me for more information about low cost face-to-face, on-line, or a telephone consultation with a lawyer in our office.
