chil support summons/paternaty

My husband's ex had a baby by him she says,his name is not on the birth cert.. Anyway he doesn't have a problem taken care of his child but she moved to nc when the child was 2wks old and married another guy.13yrs later she want to file for support.the hub files the child on taxes,can they sue him for support if she never gave him the chance as afather and moved to another state.

First he would want to get a paternity test. If he is the father then he will be responsible to support that child. He may ask the court to allow him to claim the child, at least on alternate years.
