child abandonment warrant

my husband who is the father of my children recently stopped supporting my children in feburary. Is it true that i can file a child abandonment warrant to get him to start making payments again in new york?

If your husband has an order of support, then you must go back to court and file a violation petition to make him pay. I have no idea what a warrant for failure to pay is. The court can issue a warrant for his failure to show up once the petition is filed.
