Child Custody

My ex is in the Air Force. Do I have a better chance of getting custody of my children because of deployment?

It should not be dispositive. Most judges however would rather have a child live with its parents but only if that is in the best interest of the child. The court could also make a temporary placement and wait for your spouse's deployment to end.
