Child Custody
My girlfriend has lived in ny for 5 years we started dating on 1/20/07 and she got pregnant in December of 07 and had the baby 9/14/08 and then a week later she packed all of her stuff and went to live in Wisconsin with her parents. my question is what will the judge most likely do?

If you want joint custody of the child, you must move quickly if you want NY to retain jurisdiction over the child.
You would have to file a petition in the Family Court for joint custody and visitation of the child. As a father you have the right to raise the child with the mother. And although only an infant, it is in the best interest of the child to be raised by both a mother and father.
