Child Custody

What happens when the other parent do not release the child for the assigned week end. What can my son do? She do not keep times for pick the child and you do not maitain the aggrements that the court has assign by order. What can my son do in a case like this. They are under new york state custody law. Child support is being paid. Please advise.

Your son should contact the attorney who represented him during the custody matter. If he did not have an attorney or can no longer afford the attorney he had, he should contact the court which granted the custody order and ask them for pro bono assistance (free or reduced fees).
