Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Child Endangerment, Support, harrasment and Visitation
How can I stop visitation for a father who repeatedly endangers his child with different actions each time, including but not limited to: no child car seat, no change of diapers, sleeping in the same bed with him, etc. Each action has been reported to the police, an order of protection was issued by the Queens Family Court, which states: Observe such other condition(s) as are necessary to further the purposes of protection: SUBJECT TO VISITATION ORDER, and when instances occur subsequent to the order, it is not being enforced? He fought for visitation, then overnight visitation, and repeatedly does not show up to pick up his child on his scheduled day, which is very disruptive to the baby, but instead tells the child care provider (which I am paying for), to tell me that he is busy and will be flying to Guyana so he is not picking her up? He repeatedly shows up at the child care provider, disrupting the childs daily activities?
His lawyer repeatedly requests adjournments and/or continuations.
I need help and I just want it to stop.
Signed,
Desperate

Have you contacted the Queens County ASC Office? ACS can supervise the child's visits, and can investigate allegations of abuse and neglect.
