Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Child Protective Services are not protecting my children.
Can a Child Protective SErvice Casework devulge to the person hsving the complaint against, who called in the complaint? My ex has medical custody and I have DEntal. My daughters are almost always ill. My one daughter more since shes asthmatic. On 1 occassion, I telephoned CPS as my daughter was having an attack at home, my daughter is 10 and she has a twin also. The one twin ran upstairs to where my 21 year old was yet he never came down. My daughter immediate called me, I in turn called CPS as I have no contact with my ex. I assumed that CPS would go check on my daughter, yet the caseworker got annoyed and told me she was going home and why did I call so late(4:45pm). On the 2nd occassion, I called CPS because my ex hit my daughter hard in the head. We have a court order that refrains from ANY coperal punishment. CPS told my daughter that she probably deserved it. Now CPS told my ex that it was me who called them twice on her. My question and I hope to God you can help, can a CPS Caseworker reveal to the person that the complaint is against, who made the complaint? I am disqusted with CPS and the Judge are waiting for my children to be brought home in a coffin. What do I do?Please help me.

You can get counseling to help you handle the stresses in your life; and to help you make better decisions about how and what YOU choose to do, in any given situation.
